SMALL WONDERS PHILOSOPHY
At Small Wonders Child Care Facility we offer a child-centered, family-orientated program. We consider each child a unique individual and strive to create a safe, nurturing and trusting environment for them.
The staff of Small Wonders promotes a developmental approach to social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth of children. We help foster self-esteem, competence, and confidence while providing a feeling of warmth, love, and security while the children are in our care.
Child care is one of the most important experiences that a child will have during their childhood. It is our goal to provide a place that offers good choices, guidance, and support for children and families. It is also our goal to provide the parents with a secure and happy place for their children.
PARENT INVOLVEMENT
Our daycare center has an "open-door" policy. Parents and family members are always welcome to stop in at any time or to
call to check up on your children. We welcome and encourage parent volunteers, not only on field trips, but at any time.
If you have a special interest or talent that you would like to share please let a teacher know. We love to
have an opportunity to include you into our center and curriculum
development.
Parent/Teacher conferences are scheduled twice a year. We like to keep you updated on your child's progress and development.
Although conferences are scheduled only twice a year, you are not limited to these times. Staff
members are happy to meet with you as often as you like.
